North Brother Lookout

North Brother Mountain Lookout

The North Brother Lookout (Captain Cook Bicentennial Drive NSW 2443) situated in the Dooragan National Park, very close to Laurieton,  offers panoramic views over the magnificent Camden Haven Inlet with the views extending to Crowdy Head in the south and as far as Mount Yarrahapini in the north.

The look out includes picnic facilities and an open lawn area.  It is the perfect place to relax and unwind whilst enjoying breath taking views.  It is easily accessible by car.

Flat Rock Lookout

Flat Rock Lookout (Langans Rd, Corrabare NSW 2325) has a misleading name in that there is nothing flat about this outlook.  Located in the nearby Lansdown Forest the look out has a 500 m drop.  There is a small, fenced viewing platform which offers scenic views of the region and Mount Nellie.  The unusual rock formation being the remnants of a vast volcano that once dominated this area.

Take your binoculars and camera too – birds of prey are known to nest in the cliffs with peregrine falcons and wedge-tailed eagles having been frequently sighted.
